City Wide Cleanup Week

Curbside Clean-Up Event

On Monday morning of each Clean-Up Week, all single family dwellings may set out additional compatible household waste and/or bulky items at the curb for collection. There is no charge for this service and no need to call to arrange collection. Items must be at your curbside by 7:00 A.M.

Collections will performed on all days of the week as crews canvas the City. Please note that collections may not necessarily be on your regular collection day.

Extra Household Waste

Waste must be contained in cans or bags and yard trimmings must be tied in bundles. PSDS will collect:

• Up to four 32-gallon containers or four bags weighing not more than 50-pounds each

Or,

• Two bundles of yard trimmings not larger than 4-feet in length, 18-inches in diameter and weighing not more than 50-pounds each

Bulky Items

Collection can include up to two bulky items such as appliances, furniture, tires or construction debris. Bulky items may not weigh more than 150-pounds each and must be easily team-lifted by two collectors.

Combinations

• It is permissible to combine materials like two containers of waste and one bulky item.

Extra Items

• Additional items and overweight items beyond Clean-up Week specifications may be accepted for curbside pick-up subject to prior arrangement and service charges.

Hazardous waste is NOT accepted.
